Chris Cain (4) Profile: American blues and jazz guitarist born Novem, in San Jose, California, USA. He began playing professionally as a teenager in local clubs, at festivals, and at private events. Cain received four Blues Music Award nominations in for his debut album, Late Night City Blues, including Guitarist of the Year.

The CD mixes straightforward homage to The King with Cain's own signature heat. There is actually a bit of historical guitar wryness on this cd-- listen to Eric Clapton's solo on "Hideaway" from the mid's John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers album, then listen to Cain's opening solo on track #2.

 · Chris Cain has released his 15th album, Raisin' Cain on the prestigious Alligator Records label. The album has hit the blues charts at home and all over the world. #1 on the California Blues Radio Charts for 12 consecutive weeks, Raisin' Cain continues to remain in the top 10 albums every week for the past 26 weeks.

  3. Chris Cain: Cain Does King. ( 'Blue Rock'It') (/12). One of the most fascinating guitar players from the west coast is back with a B.B. King tribute album. An entire CD with songs by the great bluesman. Not just B.B.'s best known tunes, but a well-researched collection .
